Americans United for Life is offering extended suicide prevention assistance for anyone who needs it. The pro-life organization works to advocate and support at all stages and hopes to aid those who suffer or are at risk.
“We offer understanding, not judgment,” said the president and CEO of the organization. “We offer real help, not empty platitudes. The pain that drives people to contemplate suicide is as real as the pain from any disease, and deserves to be taken just as seriously. The American suicide epidemic must be stopped, and AUL is committed to being a leader in that effort.”

Correction: An article in the March 23 issue of the The Tablet appeared with the headline: “Glendale Parish Steps Closer to Christ One Bowl at a Time.” The article, which was about Sacred Heart parish’s Lenten observance in support of the Little Sisters of the Poor, two times erroneously referred to Our Lady of Grace. The entire article was about Sacred Heart and the work of the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild, not the Our Lady of Grace Ladies Guild.
