On Saturday, March 17, students from St. Saviour H.S., Park Slope, participated in NY’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Manhattan.
Forty school alums marched along with 60 current students and faculty. This is only the second time in its 95-year-history that St. Saviour has marched in the parade. The first time was in the 1960s.
What made St Saviour’s participation unique is that normally the parade only accepts groups that have a marching band. St Saviour does not have a marching band.
