Savina Salvo, the mother of Josephine Brucato, who works in the diocesan episcopal vicars’ office, died Sept. 8.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 11 at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Mill Basin.

Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village.
