This summer marked the third time the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of Brooklyn and Queens hosted a summer basketball league.
A total of 65 teams from 25 parishes participated, making this summer the largest since the league’s inception.
CYO teamed up with the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, which provided players with uniforms as part of the Junior Nets program. All players will also receive a ticket to a Nets home game at Barclays Center during the 2016-2017 regular season.

Girls Divisions
Pee Wee: Our Lady of Hope, Middle Village, defeated Our Lady of Lourdes, Queens Village
Bantam: St. Nicholas of Tolentine, Jamaica, defeated St. Matthias, Ridgewood
Intermediate: St. Joan of Arc, Jackson Heights, defeated Our Lady of Hope
Boys Divisions
Pee Wee: St. Margaret, Middle Village, defeated St. Mary Gate of Heaven, Ozone Park
Bantam: St. Bernard, Mill Basin, defeated Our Lady of Hope
Intermediate: St. Anastasia, Douglaston, defeated Resurrection Ascension, Rego Park
Tyro: Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Bayside, defeated St. Mary Gate of Heaven
