St. Paul the Apostle parish, Corona, closed its celebration of the 50th anniversary of its founding with a Mass of thanksgiving celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Octavio Cisneros. Father Darrell Da Costa, pastor, also welcomed Father Tom Pettei, Vicar of Queens, Msgr. Paul Jervis, former pastor, and Deacons Marco Lopez and Fernando Orozco. During the Mass, Bishop Cisneros blessed the new statue of St. Jude donated by parishioner Deokie Dunlap. After Mass, the celebration continued in the auditorium with dinner and music.
