Father John J. Newell, former parochial vicar at Sacred Heart, East Glendale, lives in a private residence in Floral Park.
Msgr. Joseph Pfeiffer, former Episcopal Vicar and former pastor of St. Helen’s, Howard Beach, still resides in St. Helen’s rectory. He plans an anniversary celebration with family and parishioners.
Father Stephen Valdazo is a former parochial vicar at St. Joan of Arc, Jackson Heights.
Father Andrew R. Varano, former pastor of St. Francis of Paola, Williamsburg, lives in a private residence and continues to celebrate Mass at St. Francis of Paola, a worship site of Divine Mercy parish.
Msgr. Pfeiffer, we can’t even begin to thank you for all you’ve done for our parish and our family. May God continue to bless you and keep you… because He knows we need you! Thank you.
Rest in Peace Father Newell. Thank you for your blessings.
