Destiny Marino, a guard on the St. Joseph’s College, Clinton Hill, women’s basketball team, scored her 1,000th career point Jan. 4.

She became the 10th player in program history to hit that mark and the first since the team joined the Skyline Conference.

Marino played her high school basketball at Christ the King H.S., Middle Village.
