Cathedral Prep and Seminary closed the 100th anniversary celebration of its founding with a gala dinner at Gargiulo’s, Coney Island. Alumni include John Moore, Joseph Slomka, Ronald Russo, John Reemmer, Auxiliary Bishop Paul Sanchez, Peter McNally, Fernando Pacifico and Anthony Sucich. Other photos show the former rector Msgr. Vincent Keane with long-time retired athletic director Jim Dilg; the current rector, Father Joseph Fonti; and principal Richie Diaz, Father James Kuroly, faculty member, with Mrs. Frances Heaslip, administrative assistant, who will retire in the spring after 30 years of service.
