After missing a full season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CHSAA boys’ varsity basketball returned this winter with lots of excitement.
The following players earned a nod to The Tablet’s diocesan varsity All-Star team. Special thanks to the league’s coaches for providing nominations.

Latiek Briscoe: St. Francis Prep, Fresh Meadows; senior; guard; team captain; averaged 17.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game; named to the CHSAA All-League First Team; 2019-2020 Tablet All-Star
Jaden Daughtry: St. Francis Prep; senior; guard; team captain; averaged 12.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game; recorded five triple-doubles this season; named to the CHSAA All-League First Team
