FLUSHING — To celebrate the Eucharistic Revival at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, DeSales Media Group, the ministry that produces The Tablet, created a special edition focusing on the revival, which included a look back at what led up to Saturday’s convocation of parishes.

The arriving pilgrims were greeted by staff from The Tablet, who distributed nearly 4,000 copies of the paper.

“It was an honor for The Tablet team to be able to provide a special edition of the diocese’s legacy newspaper to the thousands of pilgrims who attended,” said Vito Formica, executive director of news content and development for DeSales Media.

“Seeing all of the stories that led to this glorious day in the special section really made it an edition to hold on to for the memories,” he added.

The Tablet has been in print weekly since 1908.
