There’s a Red Storm Brewing at Olympics

Watch out Rio de Janeiro! There’s a storm brewing – not a typical storm, but instead a “red storm.” A contingent of former athletes and current coaches from St. John’s University, Jamaica, have made the trip to Rio to participate in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Race Honors Nazareth Alumnus’ Sacrifice

Maj. Eugene McCarthy made the ultimate sacrifice 25 years ago. The 1973 graduate of Nazareth H.S., East Flatbush, was the first Brooklyn casualty of the 1991 Gulf War.

St. Joseph’s Runners on Track for Success

The runners from St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Academy have plenty of heart. The academy formed a track program in the spring of 2013 for students in fifth through eighth grade. The program expanded to include the CYO fall cross-country and winter indoor track seasons.

CYO Outdoor Track Meet Results

The CYO hosted its final regular season outdoor track meet May 18. It was the Warren Scullen Memorial meet.

McClancy Track Stars Set New School Records
