CCBQ Mobilizes to Help Migrants Bused In By Texas Governor

Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens has mobilized to help asylum seekers recently bussed to New York City from Texas. The staff hosted information sessions for about 200 people on Aug. 29 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Brooklyn Heights. The migrants received food boxes, toiletries, a hot lunch, and fellowship.

Diocese of Columbus, Bishop Brennan, Welcome New Leader

Bishop Earl Fernandes beamed his trademark smile Tuesday, May 31 throughout his ordination and installation as the new shepherd for the Diocese of Columbus. He succeeds Bishop Robert Brennan who left Columbus to lead the Diocese of Brooklyn.
