You may not know the name of architect John J. O’Malley but you may have sat in one of the churches he designed in the Diocese of Brooklyn. His family recently gathered in Queens to see his handiwork and celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth.

Irish Prepare for Fair in Coney ‘Ireland’
The Great Irish Fair is just one month away and organizers officially launched this year’s festivities with a reception at St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, Aug. 13. Attendees had a chance to meet the honorees and whet their appetites for the fair, set for Sept. 26-27 at MCU Park in Coney Island.
