Bishop Robert Brennan in partnership with Cardinal Timothy Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York and Bishop John Barres of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, invites Catholics to confession on Reconciliation Monday, which will be held this year on Monday, April 3.
The goal of Reconciliation Monday is to encourage Catholics to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation in preparation for Christmas.
Parishes throughout the New York City area are providing an opportunity for Catholics to go to confession on Dec. 16 on what is called “Reconciliation Monday.”
