Residents of the Rockaways are raising money to fund the restoration of “Navigator Star,” a mosaic in Tribute Park honoring the victims of 9/11. The mosaic was heavily damaged by Superstorm Sandy in 2012.

When parishioners returned to St. Edmund the Martyr Church after a fire, one familiar face was still missing: the Blessed Mother in the stained-glass window above the front entrance. Now, that image has been restored.
