Blessed Carlo Acutis is helping students in the Diocese of Brooklyn grow closer to their faith. Scores of students came to Holy Family Church in Fresh Meadows on Wednesday, April 6 to take part in a prayer rally where they were given the opportunity to venerate a relic of Acutis.
Blessed Carlo Acutis inspires teenagers around the world, including those at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School on Long Island. Three seniors wrote an original song in tribute to Acutis, thanks to the encouragement of their high school chaplain Father Liam McDonald and help from their campus minister, Theresa Marino.
Thousands sang and applauded as Italian teen Carlo Acutis was beatified in a town dear to him and to many Christians around the world: Assisi.
