Bishop DiMarzio Celebrates Anniversary of His Episcopacy

On Saturday, hundreds of people came to the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph to see Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio celebrate Mass to mark the 25th anniversary of his episcopacy. The congregation included a large contingent of the bishop’s family and friends who filled the front pews of the co-cathedral.

Columbus Day Parade Returns to Streets of New York City

An estimated 35,000 participants marched past St. Patrick’s Cathedral where many stopped to be greeted and have their pictures taken with Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, including actor Chazz Palminteri, Police Commissioner Dermot Shea, and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Opening Mass at Dunwoodie Celebrates 125th Anniversary 

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio joined hundreds more for Mass celebrating the 125th year of St. Joseph’s Seminary & College at Dunwoodie, Yonkers. Auxiliary Bishop James Massa, the rector, said the hill-top campus is “merely a branch campus of the one that the Great Teacher founded back in Galilee, two millennia ago.”
