Rochester Diocese To Receive First-Class Archbishop Sheen Relic

A first-class relic of Archbishop Fulton Sheen is being given to the Diocese of Rochester by his native Diocese of Peoria. The relic will be transferred during a Sept. 29 Mass at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral five days after Archbishop Sheen’s beatification in St. Louis.

Sheen’s Sept. 24 beatification, the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois, recently released a schedule of events, inviting those who plan to travel to The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, for the beatification to “go deeper” and “transform your trip into a sacred journey.”
