McClancy Girls Hoops Continues Championship Run

The Msgr. McClancy M.H.S., East Elmhurst, girls’ basketball team has continued its historic season, with a 62-32 victory over Sacred Heart H.S., Yonkers, N.Y., in the State Catholic Championship.

JV Hoops City Title for Msgr. McClancy

The Msgr. McClancy junior varsity boys’ basketball team won this year’s city championship with a 49-35 victory over Msgr. Farrell H.S., Staten Island.

St. Saviour Junior Scores 1,000th Point

Lauren Duggan, the point guard and a co-captain of the Pandas varsity team, became the first player in school history to reach the 1,000-point mark as a junior. She accomplished the feat Feb. 5 in the team’s final home game of the season, a non-league matchup against St. Vincent Ferrer, Manhattan.
