St. Joseph’s College is brings back its Presidential Lecture series with speaker Michelle D. Bernard, on Thursday, May 12 at 1 p.m. on the Clinton Hill campus.

Bernard is the president and CEO of the Bernard Center for Women, Politics and Public Policy. The title of her talk is: “More Than Single-Issue Voters: How Today’s American Women are Changing the Face of Feminism.”

For this series, the college hosts a distinguished member of public life with experience, knowledge and perspectives that challenge the academic community and the community at large as citizens in the 21st century.

St. John’s Bread and Life Program, based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, is proud to announce that it is bringing it mobile soup kitchen to Visitation B.V.M. parish, Red Hook, every Friday (except the first Friday of the month).
