Italian residents in Williamsburg have been carrying on the Giglio tradition every July for more than 100 years. Among the special guests at this year’s feast at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church were General Paolo Serra, a military and police advisor at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations, far right, and his wife, Antonella. They enjoyed the sights, sounds and aromas of the feast with Msgr. Joseph Calise, pastor. (Photo courtesy Msgr. Calise)
