During this Year of Faith, here is an event you don’t want to miss: David Haas, composer of contemporary Catholic liturgical music, including “Blest Are They,” “We Have Been Told,” “We Are Called” and “We Will Rise Again,” will be in concert   in the Brooklyn Diocese at Holy Child Jesus parish, Richmond Hill. Haas will be joined by Lori True to present an interactive concert on March 15 at 7:30 p.m. The duo returns March 16 for a 10 a.m. musical workshop, “Why We Go to Mass – Liturgy and Life” at the parish. For the full schedule, call Mr. Steve at 718-847-1860.

You don’t have to go all the way to Padua to see the relics of St. Anthony. On the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the discovery of the saint’s relics by St. Bonaventure, a relic will be visiting St. Adalbert parish, Elmhurst. See the relic on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. Mass or on Sunday, Feb. 17 for a 2 p.m. liturgy of symbols. All are welcome. For details, call the Anthonian Association at 347-738-4306.

Join the Sisters of St. Dominic, Amityville, L.I., for an Irish Night, March 2 at St. Brigid School, Westbury, L.I. Evening begins with a 7 p.m. Mass for peace in the world and 8 p.m. celebration with a traditional family-style Irish dinner, entertainment, singing and dancing. Set-ups and beer provided. The Beginning Experience Weekend is a program for adults grieving the loss of a love relationship through death, divorce or separation.
