Stella Clinton was fatally injured while walking home from getting her ashes on Ash Wednesday. She was 86 years old.

Walking home from Good Shepherd, Marine Park just a block from her home, a car backing into their driveway did not see her and hit her.

She was a large part of the community and parish as she served as a lunch lady in the Good Shepheard school for over 30 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place at Good Shepherd, Marine Park, March 11. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
