Father Peter Purpura, rector of St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn, and Deacon Ron Rizzuto, a member of the parish’s pastoral team, participate in the blessing of the new Cathedral Center beneath the main church on Sunday, Nov. 12.  The space will be used for social gatherings for both parish and diocesan events.
