Brother Peter Marie, C.F.R., and two of the men from the St. Anthony Shelter for Renewal, the Bronx, display some of the new socks and other items that were donated to them by the parishioners of St. Helen Church in Howard Beach. This was the parish’s fifth annual Thanksgiving Sock Drive to benefit St. Anthony’s Shelter, which serves as a safe haven for single men over 18 who are homeless and taking steps toward healing and recovery.
