St. Gregory the Great, Bellerose, was the named the recipient of the 2015 Kevin Mahoney Sportsmanship Award.

The award is presented annually to a Catholic Youth Organization parish for working with each participant, coach, official and volunteer to bring the Gospel’s vision and values to life.

The parish encourages sportsmanship and self-control in the face of adversity while encouraging cooperation and community. This award was selected by the CYO umpires and referees of all sports.
