Stella Maris H.S. Graduate Now Will Run the Show
Margaret Alaimo, a graduate of Stella Maris H.S., and former basketball standout at St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, was named a new director of athletics and recreation at St. Joseph’s College, Clinton Hill.

St. Bernard, Mill Basin, hosted its first-ever 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Sept. 14 in memory or Samantha Reinhardt Esposito, a parishioner who passed away recently at the age of 29 due to hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
The parish raised money throughout the day to donate to a charity in Samantha’s name. The double-elimination tournament featured coed teams from grades three through 10 enjoying some competitive hoops action.
