>> Konchalski Classic Tickets

Tickets to the first-ever Tom Konchalski Classic at Fordham University, the Bronx, are now available. The tournament will be held Nov. 19, 21, and 22 at Rose Hill Gymnasium. The classic will honor the memory of Konchalski, a 1968 Fordham graduate. Visit www.tomkfoundation.org to purchase tickets.

Josh and Richie Palacios, Catholic Youth Organization basketball products from St. Thomas Aquinas, Flatlands, each recently wrapped up their professional baseball seasons.

The 26-year-old Josh appeared in 29 games as an outfielder for the Washington Nationals. He hit .213 with two doubles and two RBIs in 47 at-bats.

Richie, a 25-year-old infielder, played in 54 games with the American League Central champion Cleveland Guardians, batting .232 with 26 hits, 10 RBIs, six doubles, and two stolen bases.
