The boys’ varsity basketball team at Nazareth H.S., East Flatbush, will be moving up from the CHSAA’s ‘A’ division into the top-ranked ‘AA’ division starting with the 2023-2024 season. The team, coached by former professional basketball player Gary Ervin, finished last season 26-1 overall (18-0 in league play) and were runners-up to Msgr. Farrell H.S., Staten Island, as city champions.
