Sports Round-Up March 27

Msgr. McClancy H.S., East Elmhurst, senior girls’ basketball player Grace Kennedy has decided to remain in the Diocese of Brooklyn for college. She will play next fall at St. Joseph’s College Brooklyn, Clinton Hill.


After finishing the regular season 20-8, the Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, men’s basketball team found its way back to the NCAA Tournament. The team’s head coach is Mike Boynton, who played basketball at Bishop Loughlin H.S., Fort Greene. This was Boynton’s first appearance as a head coach in the NCAA Tournament in his four seasons leading the Cowboys.


The following men’s college basketball players with ties to Christ the King H.S., Middle Village, all appeared on teams that participated in postseason play.
