Sister Mary Lucilla Bernier, S.C., (Frances Helen Bernier), a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 83 years, died June 22 at Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., at the age of 103.

She served as an eighth-grade teacher at St. Nicholas of Tolentine School, Jamaica, 1954-57, and also at Resurrection-Ascension, Rego Park, 1957-60.

She ministered at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Staten Island, 1951-54, and in Massachusetts and Nova Scotia.

A funeral Mass was held at Mount St, Vincent, Wellesley, June 25. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, Massachusetts.
