Sister Maria Voorneveld, I.H.M., (formerly known as Sister M. Theodore) of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died March 27 at Our Lady of Peace Residence, Scranton, Pa. She was 95.

Born in Syosset, L.I., as Marie Louise, she entered the IHM congregation in 1945 and made her final profession in 1951.

In the Brooklyn Diocese, she taught at Our Lady of Mercy School, Forest Hills, 1977-81, and was the librarian at St. Ephrem School, Dyker Heights, 1989-94.

Interment was at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
