Sister Margaret Grace O’Connor, S.C., a Sister of Charity-Halifax for 78 years, died at Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., May 6. She was 96.

She ministered at Our Lady Help of Christians Convent, Midwood, as a music supervisor, 1968-71, and at St. Sylvester Convent, East New York, 1977-82. She also ministered in Massachusetts and Wayne, N.J. She earned a doctorate in music education from Boston College.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Mount St. Vincent Chapel in Wellesley Hills, Mass., May 12. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
