As we did last year, this campaign will run entirely online.
The contest will begin Monday, March 9 and end Friday, March 27, 2026.
Program Summary
The Tablet’s Catholic Education Fundraiser invites students from Brooklyn and Queens Catholic elementary schools and parish religious education programs to join a contest where they will help sell The Tablet subscriptions to raise funds for their schools and parishes. While engaging in their Catholic faith, they will have the opportunity to earn incredible rewards for themselves in the process. The Tablet and DeSales Media support Catholic Journalism in our diocese and are committed to covering all the local news about your schools and parishes that you can’t get anywhere else.
Special Membership Pricing: $30/year with auto-renewal

FAQ's
How does my school or parish benefit from this fundraiser?
Every school or parish will receive $10 per paid subscription sold. Winning school and parish will be featured in The Tablet and receive a special visit from The Tablet staff.
How does a student keep track of their subscription sales?
Students will be able to use the iPads, which they have already received thanks to the DeSales grant program. They can access a URL page with a registration form where subscribers can automatically sign up with their name and credit card information. People will be able to see it on the page and securely input their information. It will automatically be entered into The Tablet’s subscription system.
What are the specific prizes students can win?
In addition to cash, the top 250 sellers receive a free pair of AirPods 4.
In addition to cash, the top school and top parish will be featured in The Tablet with special recognition.
When should promotional posters and instructions be sent to schools?
A delivery to the participating schools that contains the promotional posters and instructions will arrive during the week of Monday, March 2nd, for the teachers to send home with each student before the fundraiser begins on March 9th.
When will all the information about the Fundraiser be available?
The Special Pullout Section appears in the March 7, 2026, edition of The Tablet.
When does the fundraiser start, and when does it end?
The CONTEST PERIOD will begin on Monday, March 9, and end on Friday, March 27, 2026.
What does a paid Tablet subscription cost?
Normal subscription price: $30/year
Normal membership price: $50/year
Promo membership price: $30/year with auto renewal
How will the students and schools be credited?
Subscribers must identify the student at the time they subscribe, by entering the student’s name and school or parish when placing an online credit/debit/PayPal order subscription forms that will be on thetablet.org’s payment portal with special pricing. (Students may also specify themselves when subscribing on a customer’s behalf). No checks/cash will be accepted. Also, subscriptions may not be pooled or divided among students.
All subscriptions sold during the program will be sold on a NON-REFUNDABLE basis. All subscriptions must be ordered and paid for during the contest period to be eligible for this contest.
When and how will the winning students receive their prizes?
After the campaign, the student winners will be presented a check at the schools the week of April 13th and announced on Currents News and The Tablet soon after.
