Michael Benn, chairman of the Queens County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, addresses the gala dinner and installation of the Grand Marshal and Deputy Marshals held at Antun’s, Queens Village. The parade will take place on Saturday, March 7, in Rockaway Beach. Steve Cassidy, president of the Uniformed Firefighters Association of New York, will lead the line of march as Grand Marshal. Congressman Joseph Crowley was named Gael of the Year. The day begins with 9 a.m. Mass for peace and justice in Ireland at St. Francis de Sales Church, Belle Harbor. Breakfast brunch follows at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Beach 90th St. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. at Beach 130th St. and Newport Ave.
