Push for Abortion ‘Rights’

Dear Editor: When the Roe v. Wade Decision (1973) of the U.S Supreme Court legalized abortion throughout the United States, New York lost its position of being the abortion capitol of the U.S.

Since “Roe v. Wade” could be jeopardized because of President Trump’s Pro-Life Supreme Court Nominee, Gov. Cuomo  renewed efforts to have the NYS Reproductive Rights Law enacted, to codify women’s abortion rights.

Financial considerations and political motivation obviously inspired his new role  as a supposed “champion of women’s rights.”

However, calling killing by abortion and supporting a woman’s right to choose “rights” may be euphemisms, but in fact they are deceptive lies, defying God, nature, morality and logic.

All human rights depend on the “right to life,” which is God-given and constitutionally assured. Human rights are reciprocal and no human right exists which depends upon the depriving of another human’s rights.

The pre-born baby has been proven by geneticists to be a unique living individual human being. Human life is a continuum from conception to natural death and should be respected at all stages.
