Continuing its observance of the Year of Mercy, St. Thomas Aquinas parish in Flatlands will present a “Praise Night,” with a focus on confession as the sacrament of mercy on Wednesday Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Leading the event is Brooklyn-born Father Arlen Harris, O.F.M. Cap., one of over 1,000 priests designated by Pope Francis as a “missionary of mercy” in this jubilee year.
