Sister Mary Feliciana Sacco, C.S.J., a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, for 65 years, died March 3.She entered the congregation in 1948 from Ascension parish, Elmhurst. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in science from St. John’s University, Jamaica.
She taught at St. Michael, Sunset Park, 1950-56; Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Sunset Park, 1956-59; St. Rose of Lima, Parkville, 1959-61; Stella Maris H.S., Rockaway Park, 1961-65; St. Brendan D.H.S., Midwood, 1965-74; and The Mary Louis Academy, Jamaica Estates, 1974-2011.
In 2011, she retired to St. Joseph Convent, Brentwood.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place in Sacred Heart Chapel, Brentwood, March 9. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery, Brentwood.
