Unlike any other school on Staten Island, Notre Dame Academy offers a transformative education for girls and young women in grades pre-kindergarten through 12, which enables each student to discover her own voice, develop her unique talents and reach her potential in a personalized environment rooted in the Liberating Education tradition of the Congregation of Notre Dame.

Notre Dame Academy’s beautiful and newly renovated 13-acre campus, conveniently located on Grymes Hill, is in itself a challenging and creative learning atmosphere, which extends educational opportunities far beyond the classroom. Recent installations of solar panels provides a learning experience like no other available on the Island. The young women in Notre Dame will now be able to track energy usage, and use the 160 solar panels as a learning tool in math and science.

To ensure the highest quality education, the academy provides state-of-the-art resources such as newly upgraded chemistry, physics and computer labs, SMART Boards and Tables beginning in kindergarten, as well as one-to-one interactive learning software for the middle school. Coupled with these resources, the outstanding faculty and small class sizes, the students are set up for nothing but success.

At Notre Dame Academy, young women build an excellent academic foundation, which is supported by strong spiritual principles and enriched by a strong athletic and arts program.

Notre Dame Academy will be hosting an Open House for interested families on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 9-11 a.m., and on Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Both Open Houses will take place in the main building of the elementary school, located at 78 Howard Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10301.
