The Diocesan Pastoral Council has announced a new slate of officers. At its June 16th meeting, Annmarie McLaughlin of Sacred Heart parish, Bayside, was elected chairperson and Christopher Iasiello of Sacred Hearts-St. Stephen, Carroll Gardens, is now the new vice-chair. The new executive secretary is Helene Cirrincione from St. Bernard parish, Mill Basin.
Iasiello also is the assistant news director for Currents, the nightly cable TV show seen on NET-TV.
The council meets quarterly with Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio as part of the diocesan consultation process.
