Catholic Schools Week 2017

Nazareth Regional HS

Where Bright Futures Begin

Nazareth Regional High School is a high-performing Catholic college preparatory high school that maintains a rigorous academic environment and encourages students to realize and achieve their potential. This year, the East Flatbush school has made a conscious decision to foster a community of technology that empowers students to think independently in an ever-changing world.

Technology introduced at Nazareth Regional High School is meant to provide students with a plethora of unique opportunities that are progressive in thought and inclusive of the careers that now exist in this ever-changing world. Nazareth’s new 3D virtual reality technology transforms learning and accelerates STEM initiatives. The 3D technology is engaging, entertaining and thought-provoking for students.

What better way to educate, than to bring to life images of the human body, ancient pyramids, Shakespearean theater or an environment that no longer exists in our world. Students are captivated and gain control of their educational experience with the interactive software that enables them to immerse themselves in thoroughly engaging lessons.

All students receive Chromebooks and are trained to work on Google Classroom and a multitude of other programs. Every freshman must take the JavaScript Coding Course, which is the programming language of the web. It is one of the most popular and in-demand skills in today’s job market. Students are encouraged to take AP Computer Science principles, AP Computer Science A, a gaming elective and/or become part of the Robotics Team.

Stewardship, Morals, Character

Nazareth is a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School that is centered on enduring personal relationships, stewardship for God’s creation, religious instruction, spiritual formation, worship and prayer. Character, moral values, a passion for justice and peace and a spirit of harmony are central to the school community.

Making great memories continues to be at the forefront at Nazareth. Students consider “Naz” a home away from home. In this exuberant atmosphere, students find limitless opportunities to learn and connect with others. Naz offers dozens of extracurricular activities and a typical student spends more time at school than at home.

Nazareth continues to develop student athletes. The student athletes truly embody the Nazareth model of success by rigorous work on and off the court or field. That is why the Nazareth student athlete is sought after by college coaches. Every year students earn millions of dollars in Division I scholarships.

Nazareth is currently accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year. Students and parents call the Admissions Office at 718-763-1100 ext. 224 to make an appointment. Financial aid is available for eligible candidates.
