Dear Editor: I like a lot of what Senator Ted Cruz has been saying and doing lately. I’m reminded of Frank Capra’s film, “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington” when Ted Cruz comes to mind.

Senator Cruz is certainly ruffling some feathers in D.C. He is an honest man with integrity who will fight for the principles enshrined in our Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence.

No more abortions! No gay marriage! Defend the right to bear arms! We must never surrender!
