Members of the Msgr. McClancy M.H.S., East Elmhurst, junior varsity softball team attended Mass together on Sunday, March 16 at Corpus Christi Church, Woodside.

Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio was the main celebrant and spoke about the impact teenagers can have on the Church.

Meanwhile, Corpus Christi pastor Father Patrick West blessed the team after Mass and wished them luck for the upcoming season.

Just ask head coach Frank Cammallere: It’s always a plus for a team to have God and the Church on their side!

The Lady Crusaders will play their second season after the school went co-ed prior to last season.
