It was an eventful fall season for the Msgr. McClancy M.H.S., East Elmhurst, Crusaders’ boys’ and girls’ soccer program.

The varsity boys’ captured this year’s CHSAA city championship with a win over St. Joseph’s by the Sea, Staten Island. The game was decided on penalty kicks, with McClancy senior Roko Basic scoring the deciding goal to give the Crusaders a 5-4 win.

The varsity Lady Crusaders also won GCHSAA city championship, with a win, also in penalty kicks, over St. Vincent Ferrer, Manhattan.
