Liliane DeRosa

Liliane DeRosa, the wife of Frank DeRosa, former director of the diocesan Public Information Office, died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Conn., Feb. 14. She was 82.

A registered nurse, she served at several hospitals during her career, including New Rochelle Hospital and New York Hospital, as well as the Lourdes Health Care Center of the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Wilton. For many years, she was an Our Lady of Fatima parish volunteer at Manna House Soup Kitchen, Norwalk.

In 2012 she was admitted into the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan.

She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, their five children –  Michelle, Lorraine, Denise, Claudine and Frank – and 17 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Our Lady of Fatima Church, Wilton, Conn., Feb. 23. Burial was to be in Hillside Cemetery in Wilton.
