The Royal Sages robotics team from Salve Regina Catholic Academy (SRCA), East New York, participated in Brick Fest Live at the New York Hall of Science, Flushing Meadows, last month. Brick Fest Live celebrates all things LEGO, and the Queens event showcased the use of LEGOs for art, science, technology, engineering and math education. Students showcased how they’re learning with LEGOs, creating maneuverable robotic basketball players and a mesmerizing Great Ball Contraption (similar to a Rube Goldberg machine) that showed physics at work.
