Join Swim Strong’s ‘Tread-A-Thon!’

The Swim Strong Foundation will be joining teams across the country in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most people treading water at the same time in multiple locations. The current record sits at 805 people.

The local attempt of the “Tread-A-Thon” takes place Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. at the St. Sebastian Parish Center in Woodside. Attendees are asked to arrive by 4:30 p.m.

All proceeds raised will support the foundation’s scholarship program and International Water Safety Association’s Cambodia Project. Swim Strong was founded by former St. Sebastian’s Catholic Youth Organization swim coach Shawn Slevin.
