Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams hosted an Irish-American Heritage celebration March 15 at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Honorees included, from left, Martin Kelly of Good Shepherd parish, Marine Park, the Commodore Barry Award; guest speaker, Assemblyman Robert Carroll; Judge Mark Dwyer, Justice William T. Bellard Award; Borough President Adams; Rhea McCone, Paul O’Dwyer Award; Philomena Collins of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Sunset Park, St. Bridget Award; and Christopher Byrne, the Al O’Hagan Award for Outstanding Contributions to Irish Culture in Brooklyn.
