Independent Thinkers Emerge at St. Adalbert

Located in Elmhurst, Queens, St. Adalbert School is staffed by the Conventual Franciscan Friars, the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth and a dedicated lay staff. St. Adalbert Catholic School is a multicultural school whose mission is to follow in the footsteps of Jesus as teacher and spiritual guide.

Faith formation and Catholic identity are paramount in developing the whole person through prayer, scripture, liturgical celebrations and Christian service projects. Students are empowered to become independent, moral thinkers and leaders. St. Adalbert Catholic School instills in its students lifelong Christian values toward God, society and self.

St. Adalbert School integrates technology with the Common Core standards to prepare students for college and career in the 21st century.

A free after school program is now available for students in grades six through eight! The school has partnered with the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council and the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development to offer middle school students a chance to participate in the Mayor’s Schools Out New York City (SONYC) program. St. Adalbert School programs include: robotics, forensics, Stock Market Game, builders club, art classes, chess, hip hop, team building activities, glee club and many more activities. Two of the participating teams from St. Adalbert School won first and second place in the Queens division of private schools of the Stock Market Game!

St. Adalbert is a viable school that specializes in small class sizes and a friendly, safe, family environment. Students in grades pre-K through grade eight participate in special subject classes, which include music, gym, computer and art. Spanish is offered to students in grades six through eight. Students are encouraged to participate in after-school activities and school/diocesan sponsored contests.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m., a free early morning drop-off for working parents is available. An after-school program is available every day that school is open, including half days. A family tuition plan is offered for families as well as tuition assistance for eligible families. St. Adalbert Catholic School strives to maintain an affordable, low tuition rate for families.

Registration for nursery to grade seven for the 2014-2015 school year is available.
