Auxiliary Bishop Octavio Cisneros was the main celebrant of the Good Friday services at Sacred Hearts-St. Stephen Church, Carroll Gardens, where the faithful gathered for adoration of the cross. Msgr. Guy Massie, pastor, led hundreds in procession through the streets of the neighborhood. The line of march included a statue of the Sorrowful Mother and a glass coffin bearing a life-sized image of the crucified Jesus.
